    I have built a couple versions using 100w SMDs and also warmer 3w ones. The 100w ones are crazy bright! 3w full power are also bright as well, but obviously aren't concentrated. They run hot as well However I think the taotronics one is a hard to beat. It's much more wife friendly.

    Hi everyone, I'm just curious as to how your sand bed/live rock became so full of life. I'm not talking about bacteria or hair algea . Did you guys buy the microfauna from somewhere to seed? Are any of you guys in Mclean and willing to part your dirty grunge so my tank can become a bit diverse? Thanks, Manny
