  6. I kind of wondered about that, too, and the particular photo I chose seems to emphasize that. But it's more than happy to go to the bottom of the tank, under shelves, etc. for fairly long periods, and the light isn't changing. That may be the answer, but at this point I'm not too sure.
  7. While I know that anemones can and do move, this one's been circumnavigating my rockwork and more recently the tank wall for at least three weeks now. It is literally in a different location almost every time I look in the tank. I'm open to suggestion on what is going on here; I haven't changed the lighting or the flow, and it's well fed. I'm not sure what kind it is; my best guess is long-tenticled. Thanks!

  10. I've had a heck of a time trying to get a decent picture of these (the red/purple/orange mass in the center). I think they look cool but don't know what they are - my best guess, and low confidence at that, is tunicates. They showed up a few months ago, as best I can tell out of nowhere. Anyone know what these are? Thanks!

  13. After much research (and a justifiable ulimatum from my wife ) I've settled on the 10W PAR30 lamps from BoostLED. This is one last ping for any interest in a group buy (I have a thread for these in the group buy forum) as I'm going to put through the order in a couple of hours. Any interest or questions let me know. Thanks all!
