  1. those appear to be conflicting statements. i have been using my other ATB for over a year, i can say with the utmost confidence that it is a fantastic skimmer, worth every penny.
  2. Chris and I both switched from Deltecs to these cones, the deltecs were more expensive and did not work as well....
  3. yes a BK is better than 4-5 ASMs.... space, energy, ease of use, the BK wins on all points besides price..... and ive driven miatas and 911s you must be smoking crack..... i drive a WRX, i love it but i would certainly take a C4S over it any-day of the week... there seems to be a fair amount of petty jealousy in this thread, its just a skimmer.... BTW that Deluxe is mine and I like it, isnt that what matters?
  4. My pheonix bulbs are like 27 months old I doubt it's the bulb.
  5. I heard it's going for $400 per 1/2" if we split it we can each get 1/4" for only 200 bucks woot! Haha
  6. Be sure to run extra carbon until the paint smell is all gone. Oh, looks great as an inwall.
  7. Thanks Dave, using a cannon rebel XTI, i think im just going to get new bulbs and hold off on new lights, my dream is that someday the japanese spotlights will be available here, maybe in a year right? i am using pheonix bulbs now and i have been thinking about what bulbs to buy, it is not easy but these bulbs are OLD and need replacing. how is your inwall coming along? you recognize this coral or your red monti ? you should see what it looks like from the top down, i cant seem to capture it but WHOA...
  8. thanks, too bad i dont have a frag of that Acid trip chalice in your avatar...
  9. GSM My tank Rebel XTI with acrylic top down box. Zoas
  10. Awesome when is the tank tour? AGE builds incredible tanks.
  11. thanks, the corals i got from you are coloring up really well. the lights are 250w DE Phoenix 14ks in reef optix3 pendants on aquamedic M-80 oceanlight ballasts, im not very happy with the lighting. i think im going to either keep the M-80s and get 2 lumenarc Minis or go with a powermodule t5, 6 or 8 bulb, we shall see what the new year brings
  12. i think they are called "Emeralds on fire" they are to my knowlege very rare, only 3 people that i know of have them, me, the source and the rev from club zoa. i am under strict orders not to frag them
  13. tank looks good. what do you use to get the yellow stuff that the turf puts into the water out?
  14. they are azoo fans, you can get them from the doctors and i think Aquaco had one last time i was there, i also have 2 sets that i dont need anymore if you want one PM me.
  15. Please don't compare reefer madness' and their photochopped corals to chris' honest colors the yellows are insane This tank is amazing, simple, modern, clean, and elegant. Definetly worthy of the WAMAS TOTM IMO .
  16. ,um well its sure a heck of a lot easier to drain the tank now, but i will try to hold back the "I told you so" if anything happens.
  17. I assume you fixed that closed loop with some ball valves?
