its some kind of algae i think that came on the rock that the gorgornian is on. I think its really pretty, but I will watch so that it doesnt take over.
Yeah I took it off because I didnt like the water movement with it. As for filtration, I only have the half filter sponge and carbon. The tank seems to be doing good w/o the loc-line and just the sponge and carbon. I do regular water changes every week. I love this little tank, it pretty much takes care of itself.
Hi Everyone! I know its been a long time since I posted on this forum. Shawn and I had our baby Oct 29, 2008, a little girl named Ella. But, I wanted to show you how my tank has grown since May I think! Its not the cleanest tank because I have been spending my time taking care of the little one, but its changed so much. So please excuse the mess!
Hey Steve! I have a Canon Rebel XTi. I would suggest looking at www.digicombos.com
They have a huge package deals that come with a lot of lenses and other things.
I hope this helps.
Stephanie
Update:
I wanted to show you all what my tank looks like w/o the green algae. Also, I am thinking I want more LR in my tank, but would like some input from the pro's Please ignore the big heater in my tank, I am in the process of getting a smaller one.
The candy canes I got from BRK awhile ago
I love how the green slimer is starting to spread on the plug.
I am new to all of this, but I wouldnt give up something that has been a great hobby. I guess I am trying to encourage you to stay in the hobby. Like everyone has said, rebuild, start over or I think you will regret getting out of the hobby. Everyone here seems so helpful in helping you rebuild. So I would say stay and watch it grow again. However, I am sorry for your loss of corals.
