Can we even use the mag pump externally? I heard that it's submersible only. As far as heat goes, I agree. The thing runs hot. I only use mine to pump water from the storage tank to the reservoir.

I see you left out one very crucial piece of equipment and that is a protein skimmer. I don't know if you already have one or have not gotten that far yet, but definitely don't forget to invest in a good protein skimmer.
As for the MH light, my preference is the lumenbright 250W. You might also want to consider supplementing the MH light with arctinic light as well.

That is truly amazing work. I know what you mean about being in a place where you expect it to be quiet and when sudden noise appears unexpectedly, it can make the hair on the back of your neck stand on its end.

Brian,
That is an awesome job!!! I would like to do it to my RS 80, but too afraid to try. I have to left hands.

Now, why the heck are you waiting until the last minute to renew?
I'm wondering if he's related to my wife side of the family. LOL Just messing with you and please don't tell my wife I said that either. I'm AFRAID, very AFRAID....

I heard about this couple of months ago. It sucks. Goes to show just how tight the market is. With the way the economy is, people don't spend as much as they used to on livestocks.

awesome Picture! Did the Caps win that game?

Looks good... but missing a bit of detail from the picture from your router table and what you ended up with. I don't know about you, but my router doesn't automagically do doors, nor does it stain
I guess all the "in between" stuff is a trade secret
SHHHHHH...It's ancient Chinese secret.

I saw this stand in person and it is phenomenon! If you want your fish tank stand to look like a nice piece of furniture and not just an ordinary looking stand, then Bob is your guy.
-
Fish just die. Try again. If it happens several times in a row, you have a problem.
I agree.
Small fish such as chromis tend to have higher mortality rate as well.

We totally understand if your friend can't or won't do it.

Welcome aboard Tim.

Blooodyshoes and FishyTim,
I just PM'ed you.

Great to see you back dude. Sorry about the job situation. If you can make it to the winter's meeting, we'd love to have you there.

In my case, the water pressure in my house had always been on the low side.
-
For me to fill something like 10 gal, it takes something like a day and half or longer this time of year. I need to get a water pressure booster so I don't have to waste quite as much water.

What time are we talking about on Saturday?
Dave,
I should be able to help you on Sunday. I can also swing by around 1ish on Sat for at least couple of hours.

Great link. Thanks. I downloaded it to load onto my phone so it's always on hand. This is work in progress and it has lots of possibilities. Can't wait to see what all that they will add and do to it over time.

I have my light off for 3 days without any problem. If you're thinking of something like a week, that I'm not sure if they will survive that long.

It's been several months since I last visited BRK or Aquaco or Fins & Feathers (mainly because my wife puts a freeze on my spending), I can honestly say that our vendors are the nicest folks I've encountered. When I had problem with my ACIII, I brought it to Johnny at BRK and he helped me. When I had problem with my tank, Sean at Aquaco helped me out. These folks go above and beyond services anywhere. I am grateful to have them around.

I can see the site find from clicking on the orig. link above, James.
Yes, you're right. I can too now. Strange..... I couldn't access it earlier.
Sean, ignore my request. I think my machine must have had a hiccup earlier.
-
Sean,
Can you repost the link again? I can't seem to get connected to it. Thanks.

I ordered from them in the past. Had couple of fish died a few days later. Called them up and told them what happen, they offered either to refund the money, get a replacement, or get something different. Very easy folks to work with.

From the looks of Hamilton Island, Australia, it's not at all uninhabited.... Wouldn't it be nice to be able to dive there everyday?
It would. But I can't do it if the only thing I get to talk to is to a camera and myself.

That is pretty cool and eery at the same time.
