I think that i may set up a 30-50 gallon system outside with a few montis,(maybe some softies) and see what the real sun does to the corals, im going to use a filter, skimmer, and chiller probaly only what do you guys think? Robert

hmmm, id say try moving him up a little bit, give it a day or two. But i think that really you should be able to keep him in the sand bed, and try adding some zooplankton, when i add this all the corals go crazy the pom pom start pulsing to where i dont need powerheads for water movement Robert

Xenia, Let them grow naturally, but if you want to move them to other parts of the tank, then frag and place them wherever. shrooms reproduce a lot but they the grow, i see a new one every week or so mine are working thier way up the glass at this point

I have a 30 custom sump (acrylic) with an ER5-3 id say get the ER and spend another 100 dallors, but i cant talk about money because i dont have a job, i got the skimmer for Christmas. I was looking at the urchin but then decided that ER was better because of the way that the bubbles meet the water if i remeber correctly the urchin doesnt have a lot of water volume, as does the ER and that i feel can make a big difference. Also you can ajust the riser pipe to make the skimate dry or wet depending on your prefierence. Robert

DO a closed loop!!!!! When i planned the 75 gal that I have now i didint even know about a closed loop or a SQWD. But in the 75 i have a mag 7 return, 3 301 powerheads and a 901 with and Ehiem spraybar shooting across the whole tank from right to left, so IMO i have a lot of flow, in the end use a closed loop Robert
