Found My Purple Lobster

So there I was, feeding a bit of krill to the curly Q when this little purple claw emerged from under a ledge. Offering the krill to the claw resulted in a snatching of said krill and disappearance of the claw and all that was attached thereto.

 

Seems he molted, but that likely won't stop him from forming a new aquatic religion or something :-).

Hi Jenny. the lobster is fine. I gave him his morning krill and he snatched it with his normal vigor. When I bought him, I wasn't aware of their predatory nature. Some shops have a strange idea of what is "reef safe" (she says as the arrow crab picks pieces off another snail). I would not pur two lobsters together personally, but likely someone else has more experience with them than I do. He really is a pretty creature, but be aware that you likely won't see much of them once they find a hidey hole.
