Any APEX experts out there??

I have an issue with my EB8 where 2 of the outlets burned out. I purchased a new one and cant seem to get it connected. Tech support has me in a holding pattern. HMU. Thanks!

Not an expert, but the EB8 should just plug-in with the power and bus cables. Maybe expand on what problem you are having.

 

Once you plug it in, it should show up in your modules.

 

You can expand the module to configure as before. If you are replacing the damaged EB8 then you can copy the outlet configuration from your broken device to speed up this process.

 

The outlets should also show up as new tiles.

Thanks... so yes. They are not showing up but nothing is responsive. the old EB8 is still showing up. Its not plugged in. The Heater wont shut off and the programing has it turning off at 80.5 on at 79.5 my tank is at 82 and climbing. The DOSing unit cant be recognized.

You can delete the old module by going to the module list and clicking on its name.

 

Then click on the “Action” list and there is a delete option.

 

Once you delete the module, try rebooting the head unit by quickly pressing and releasing the reset button.

I also suggest using the heater’s built in thermostat to regulate the temp down within your desired range and use the apex as a safeguard.
