I have a 10 gallon QT that has actually become a “planted” macro tank with sand and all the go withs of an actual reef tank. The tank has been established for about a year with various inhabitants which include Nassarius snails.

This evening I found Nassarius eggs on the glass.

The tank has no filter, just a small pump. Filtratiok is done by the macro and bacteria in the sand. I add 1/2 cup of nannochloropsis per day and reef roids to sustain nutrients. I also feed flakes and frozen food to the clown, crabs, and snails.

Any tips for successfully breeding the Nassarius? Thread followers welcome.52554eebbf92ce934da9dbd10b695518.jpg

A day or two after laying I usually see them being eaten by isopods and another day after that they are gone :(

More eggs were layer last night. 7426406be0cea6cbdcba554e3ce07952.jpg
