Thoughts on large FIJI cube aquariums???

I am shopping for ~ 100 gal display tank. I really like FIJI Aquariums 108 INT Corner Overflow. Ive found that reviews for these aquariums are hard to find online. I would go Waterbox or Red sea because of their long track record but my wife hates the stands.

Is there anyone our there with a large rimless Fiji aquarium that can attest to the lifespan, Seals of these aquariums? At $1500 I want this aquarium to go the distance (10+ years). Hearing about some long term successes would be a great confidence builder.

Im also interested in more information about the type of overflow they use and if it is quite. Is there a different manufacturer that makes a 48x24x24 that could be used as a peninsula tank?

Did you end up buying one? I’m seriously contemplating the 76 shallow ext package. The sump is better than RSM or Waterbox. The plumbing is also standard vs Metric.

I ordered the 108 int corner overflow. Should be coming any day now. I found generally good reviews for fiji cube. While I didn't find many long term examples (10years+), I didn't find any seal failures either. 

 

Customer service responds quickly. I received free shipping. UPS is horrible but that's another story. 

 

Ill respond next week with pictures.  For me, this was one of the only options. There are very few peninsula tanks at this size. I say if the price is right pull the trigger.

Sounds exciting! Can’t wait to see the set up. Did you buy the FIJI sump as well? I was trying to figure out if the Klir rollers fit in the sock holder. What lights are you going to pair it with?

Sorry for the late reply. I've been slowly adding equipment to my closet. I picked up a brand new red sea 525 v2 sump from @JJKK. I'm a BRS sump so of course I'm using a kessil t5 hybrid. I have the 48in hybrid fixture but will buy extra kessils down the line when I add coral.
