Anybody want to buy a Stream Pump aka FISH KILLER

I am so mad.  One of my streams just chewed up a Chromis.  I can't for the life of me figure out how he got in there.  I have the pump set to pulse, it never actually turns off.  (Or does it.)  

 

Does anyone who has one of these have any suggestions or know if they make a screen for these things?

6100 Stream?  Which controller are you using?  I use a 7094 without issues to date.

 

If you are serious about getting rid of it, they seriously hold their value, don't dump it in a fit of rage.  But if you do HAVE to dump it, I'll add it to my collection

The pulse mode keeps both pumps running at the same time but one pump slows down while the other pump ramps up.  Neither pump completely shuts down.  That's the mode recommended if you are worried about fish/little critters getting into the pump.  

 

Interval mode shuts one pump off and then the other one comes one.  Not a good setting for the critters IMO.

 

Check RC's Tunze board.  They have a lot of good suggestions for operation and the Tunze USA guy answers questions and gives advice.
