Introduction to coral

Hi all,

 

i have seen seen in the past a meeting or a class on coral frags , dipping, etc.  is there anything like this planned in the future?  Just started a tank (nov2)and will only add a cuc and 2 clowns on Nov 29. I’m not planning to add beginner corals for about 3 months and would like to learn from others.

Biggest thing to do is always DIP you coral no matter who you get it from or if they say they have no pests. 
 

the only way to truly make sure you don’t add something to your tank is if you have a strict QT process. Most of us don’t, so the next best thing is dipping. 
 

I use the bayer method and put enough in the container to make it look like milk
