menglish May 13, 2018 Share May 13, 2018 Hi all, So I am planning my fish list for a 16G bio cube nano tank and would like to get recommendations for the best algae eater fish to get. I reckon I should get a fish that would keep the rocks clean. Any suggestions for a nano tank? many thanks

gmerek2 May 14, 2018 Share May 14, 2018 Not any fish options I can think of. Mexican turbo snails mow through some stuffs fo shizzle though better than tangs for most algae types
malacoda May 18, 2018 Share May 18, 2018 There really aren't any fish that are small enough for a nano that consume enough algae to have any real impact on keeping the tank 'clean'. Some blennies - tailspot, sailfin/algae, etc. - will nibble and pick at algea ... but their too small to have any real impact. You're best bet is snails and other CUC.
