I'm still cycling. A 100g. So many pumps and things everywhere id like to hide. I found something at petco. It's a plastic red fan coral. It says made with fish safe products.

 

Do you think the salt will melt the red paint and leech it into the water ?

Oh I saw those too I loved them. But I also got scared of the paint. I asked one of the people working there. They said they don't know. At least they didn't lie me to make a sale lol

I had something like this from Petco in a freshwater tank in my daughter's room and over coarse of a year or so the paint flaked off.  Assumption would be faster in saltwater environment.  If you doing fish only maybe ok but personally if you'fre planning corals, especially anything other than softies I'd look for antother solution.
