Joshifer August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 (edited) I wasn't sure where to post this. I googled and read horror stories about people adding dry base rock to their established tanks. Anyway. I want to create 2 small islands. One for GSP and one for Xenia because I don't want them taking over the tank. On my big rock I'm putting a big hammer or frogspawn as the center piece. (Much later) The horror stories were. The tanks crashed from the base rock leeching and whatever. Is their a man made. Plastic even substitute to attach corals on isolated islands? Terra cotta. Ceramic. Edited August 28, 2016 by Joshifer
Squishie89 August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 Here has a lot of good options for islands. http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/care-and-maintenance/frag-tools-and-supplies/frag-mounts I personally have used Alternative Reef stuff, love his stuff, also a super nice guy. I can't remember what brand I used, but I had a stack of the tiles and I like using those too. But the chalices domes might be a good idea for your islands.
