SixtyFeetUnder August 15, 2016 August 15, 2016 Recently began losing a 10 year old sand sifting star; I should say minimum of 10 years because that's how long I've had him. This week I noticed his arms undergoing necrosis like sea star wasting disease in the wild. Has anyone noticed this in stars in captivity? Is this simply how very old stars waste away? A bit of a bummer, this guys was my oldest livestock and went through two tanks with me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SixtyFeetUnder August 15, 2016 Author August 15, 2016 you sure nothing is eating him? Don't think so - it was spreading without anyone picking at him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
