type of love rock

There was a certain type of rock I saw in a sump. it was flat and long. maybe 2 inches thick. was told it holds much more bacteria than regular live rock. anyone know the type?

I think it might be the Ceramic Biomedia plate I've been wanting to buy some for,my sump really low profie and holds a ton of media. Plus huge space saver.
