AUFishGuy April 13, 2016 Share April 13, 2016 (edited) So saw these little things last night and i have no idea what it is. This is the only one as far as I can see. It is anchored to the rock right in front of a powerhead and moves a little bit with the current. Any ideas? treesprite April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 (edited) Wow, I think that is what is ("was"?) in my tank. Don't know where it came from, but I was scared of it so I covered it with epoxy. Here's the info I just found: http://coralmorphologic.com/b/2010/01/25/corynactis-viridis So I guess they are non-photosynthetic polyps that eat plankton. Ever since I started using ESV freeze dried phyto, (acquired free at Macna), things have been popping up that were probably there all the time just not growing enough for me to notice them.
