zygote2k November 19, 2015 Share November 19, 2015 The company I work for is seeking a knowledgeable aquarist for maintenance services. Tanks For Your Business is the largest aquarium service company in the greater metropolitan area. We do more than 50% saltwater snd would prefer to hire a knowledgeable marine aquarist but will be interested in someone with freshwater skills. Pay is commensurate with experience, paid holiday, sick time, retirement, and performance bonuses. You must have reliable transportation, a GPS, and s cell phone. This is a good opportunity that can lead to a rewarding career for the right individual. Contact Spencer at 301-654-FISH

treesprite November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 (edited) I'm guessing that if the job doesn't pay enough to afford the basics of this hobby on top of living and other expenses, most people with enough experience to do it will not want it as their full time day job (I'm assuming it doesn't based on type of job). Most companies nowadays seem to only hire either part-time or on contract to avoid having to pay for benefits.
