John-Solo October 8, 2015 Share October 8, 2015 Iv heard that yellow tangs and Mexican turbo snails can help with Red turf algae, but it's more a case by case sort of thing. Also read that taking the effected rocks out and washing them in a 3% peroxide mix can work. I don't know if that would kill other organisms on the rock and cauls an ammonia spike though.
