Duncan closing

I have a couple headed Duncan frag that has been seemingly doing great and feeding well. All parameters good and other corals showing no signs of stress. Then over the past week the Duncan has seemed to be mostly closed, most of the time. Do they by chance close up somewhat before the heads split? Any other suggestions?

I never feed mine and they have grown fast. I see them closed mostly when unhappy (e.g when my shrimp is messing with it looking for food). Otherwise they tend to open up most days.

Maybe I will stop feeding them for a bit. My banded coral does target them afterward if I don't guard them with a turkey baster

I recently added some to my nano. I also recently added a cleaner shrimp. I noticed the shrimp irritates them pretty often.
