Neto June 22, 2015 Share June 22, 2015 So as some of you may know, I recently took my shallow 22g down due to the Ostreopsis Dynoflangellates algae. I lost all around 75% of the corals in the tank and the other are in a hospital tank where the dyno's are still present. Fish & inverts are all ok. I have some corals, fish & inverts that I would love to keep in my tank's reboot. I bought new rock, new sand & I have sanitized all the equipment & tank with chlorine, vinegar & peroxide (all at different times). 1. For fish, I would like to do a fresh water dip and transfer them to the new tank, is that a good idea? 2. What to do if I want to keep some soft corals such as ricordea's & zoanthids? Fresh water dip? 3. What to do if I want to keep 2 LPS (Miami hurracane chalice & green favia). Some of these things have been with me for years, specially my clown pair.. I cant sell & I dont feel like trading anything into a LFS to avoid dynoflangellates contamination. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
