Gsp dying or something ate it?

Noticed this just today after back from vacation..looks like something was eating it..Donno kinda weird.. And it's purple in one spot where the original colony is as u can see in the picture..that bare spot use to be filled..anyone had this happen before

I have had it recede and regrow... Not usually too much of a problem... Something may have tried to eat it or the flow is aimed right at that spot, or something stung it...

Keep an eye out for those asterina starfish, I have found them eating mine before.

Def be watching it..haven't noticed any asterina starfish in my tank but doesent mean there not there..

Happened to me, my clowns were hosting it and loving it to death! They killed it!
