madweazl February 4, 2015 February 4, 2015 I had to do an emergency evacuation when the front glass on a 50g rimless we had recently set up was starting to separate from the rest of the tank. I was able to catch it in time but it was a mad dash to locate and purchase the tank, race home, and start the transfer process. Finding the replacement tank was the toughest part.
edress714 February 9, 2015 Author February 9, 2015 Went great actually. Everyone lived. Water and tank are looking great.thanks for all the help!
edress714 February 9, 2015 Author February 9, 2015 So I took a massive storage bucket and filled that up with water. Had two 5 gallon buckets. One filled up with all rock. and some rocks in the big bucket. Took out the corals and fish into big bucket. Once everything was all out I put 90% of the old sand down and then 20lbs more sand on top. Laid rocks. Corals and fish.
