Salt switch ?

I was using aquavitro in my 110. Well I decided to go to instant ocean. The cost is like night and day. In the long run I can do more water changes. How do I introduce the new salt to the tank. I have read not just to switch it will shock tank. How?

Do five gallon water changes every week.

Mix the two together till you run out.
