Cerameco vida rock algae

Has any one had bad algae on their vida rock? Mine is cover with GHA but my regular rock is fine.

Yea mine was terrible for a few weeks maybe a month...I got a Desjardins and it ate it all. I had the same problem though it didn't grow munch on anything else. I think the sharp edges and really rough feel makes it easy for the algae to get a hold on it.

Yes, the problem is it is so porous and with the itty bitty nooks and crannies it easily gets stuck and starts in it...

My tang is lazy....

My snails are even lazier....

i haven't had any gha on mine...it went straight into the dt after a rinse
