morgan175 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I am deciding between the bubble magnus 3.5 or bubble magnus 5 curve. His tank is a 40 breeder with a 20 sump. I'm figuring that the total water volume will be around 47 gallons. Then for a return pump I'm thinking the jebao dc3000. The pump says rated to 700 gallons and I will be running two returns. Any and all help welcome. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mattiejay6 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 I think the jebao would be fine for running two return to your tank.
Mattiejay6 September 14, 2014 Share September 14, 2014 And in reference to the bubble magnus I would go with the 5... Well built skimmer, good acrylic work etc. if you have the room to go with the GSA skimmer DC has might be another option for you. But the 5 curve is a good skimmer and will do fine on your tank. I think there ratings on their skimmers are a little high so 5 should be a good fit.

s2nhle September 15, 2014 Share September 15, 2014 you can buy seaside cs1 or aquamaxx cone co1 better skimmer and better pump
Mattiejay6 September 16, 2014 Share September 16, 2014 you can buy seaside cs1 or aquamaxx cone co1 better skimmer and better pump Seaside pretty much rebrands other skimmers with different pumps. So I would say no difference on the skimmer but you would get a better pump for a little more money.
