All pieces were inside and intact Started working on it tonight and noticed a few things, I emailed about the O-ring but figured I should attach pictures and its easier here... But then we got to the gate valve and noticed if I tried to close it, it won't completely stop the flow Don't know if that's a necessity but just incase wanted to make sure before we glue.... Thanks! dandy7200 April 28, 2014 April 28, 2014 Hi Kim, I answered your email about the o-ring. For the gate valve, there is really no reason you would ever have the valve completely closed, it is designed so it can be completely open since there is only so much room in that fitting.
smallreef April 28, 2014 Author April 28, 2014 okay, thanks dan... and im afraid that o-ring isnt going to work, that is the groove its supposed to be in when the other piece is glued ontop... thats why we stopped and took the picture because there is no way it will sit flat or fit inbetween the 2 pieces its just way to big for some reason?
