Gatortailale December 30, 2005 December 30, 2005 PFO page Anyone using them in the area - opinions I see on RC - Sanjay lighting thread he plans to test the PFO krystal star in near future. HORIZONTAL PENDANT 400 W DOUBLE ENDED This pendent uses our new computer designed reflector to focus the light into the tank for a 400W Double Ended bulb. The pendent should be mounted with the bulb perpendicular to the front of the tank. The power cord comes out the side with eye bolts on the back to hang the fixture. It can also be attached to an existing hood. The pendent is made from powder coated aluminum and has a UV shielded glass lens. flowerseller December 30, 2005 December 30, 2005 I don't and am interested in what you find, but.... I'm changing the posistioning of my 3x 250w and reduing the reflector I currently have. I can only find brushed aluminum for the reflector but want to find brilliant reflective sheets. Know where to find it?
Lee Stearns December 30, 2005 December 30, 2005 I have a hard time understanding a requirement for 400 W DEs over the 250 W DEs- Penetration? deeper tank? The area coverage would be about the same because of hood, size and hieght above the water- Just do not see the need to burn that much more electricity, when the 250 put out as much as you can really use. Sorry Chip- do not know where to get the highly reflective sheets for DIY uct and bend- there are kits at many of the standard aquarium and lighting supply sites
