Screen top...quickly

So, I bought a 34 gallon Solana recently (old AIO) and needed a lid for it since I will have jawfish in it. I ordered the Solana glass lid and it was delayed, only to find out that it has been discontinued and My order canceled today. Jawfish will be here tomorrow.

 

I'm guessing a trip to Home Depot is in order...today. What should I get? I don't mind if it's a temporary solution, but I need a more permanent one fairly soon. Just a screen kit? And I hopefully can cut it to size?

go to the window section and buy the frame material, corners, spline and a tool.. and some screen..get the 1/4" screen

 

will take you less than 15 minutes

Thanks. I got it. I can do a basic screen.

yep they are simple...if you decide to keep the screen top I would swap out the screen for the clear BRS (if you don't want to order online check with QR they stock it)

picO aquariums makes nice acrylic/net tops, if you want something a bit fancier

Thanks. My little pair of fishies appreciate it. Now traipsing out into the snow to the fedex store tomorrow to pick them will be much next adventure. :-)

I have a good bit of the clear 1/4" screen (from BRS) left.   I'm maybe 20-30 mins away depending on where in Pville you live.

Thanks! I would love to buy some. You aren't terribly far. I will send a pm. The dark screen is fine for now. The poor pair is together but terrified. Leaving the Florida Keys and coming to this weather would shock anyone!
