Throw rock into tank, turn on lights, skimmers, etc. Pee into the tank to get some free Ammonia. Do not buy snake oil- aka Dr. Tims and a plethora of other potions on the market that make the same BS claim.

Let the rock cycle naturally for 60-90 days. It will go through the nitrogen cycle, the bacteria cycle, and the algae cycle. If you do it this way, your results will be spectacular. If you do it the typical lazy reefer way who doesn't want to wait but wants it now, YMMV.
