ohaverd July 17, 2013 Share July 17, 2013 So I think I am ready to try some chalice', chalice's, chali'? you know the pretty colored corals? I've been doing a little research on them, that they like indirect lighting, and not too much flow... And they have weird names like "purple frog butt", and "pink erkle twisty"... Ok I made those names up but you get my point. Questions for you expert chalice keepers, whats a good hardy chalice to start out with under 250w of T5, or a d120 LED in my frag tank? Origami July 17, 2013 Share July 17, 2013 The Hollywood Stunner is a fast grower. Reef eScape had lots of it in their tanks the other day. BTW, I'm not an expert chalice keeper by any means and I like them "ok" so I don't keep a lot of them around....

Barebottomcorals_Ed July 17, 2013 Share July 17, 2013 bubble gum monster, Miami hurricane are a few fast growing hardy chalices. not all chalices need low light/ low flow...I have several 6-8" from the top of the tank getting blasted with light. but it really depends on the chalice
