Coral Hind June 23, 2013 Share June 23, 2013 It looks like it could be coralline algae but I'm surprised you are not seeing it on other surfaces too. How often do you clean the sponge? Can you post a full tank shot?

Coral Hind June 23, 2013 Share June 23, 2013 Nice ID zygote2k! Do you turn off the pumps when you feed so the food doesn't get sucked into the sponge. I would also make sure to clean that sponge at least once a week or you will start to have nitrate issues.
Hminor00 June 24, 2013 Author Share June 24, 2013 no, i dont turn them off but i may start to being that for some odd reason it just started to show up. I clean the sponge atleast once a week though.
