Deltec MCE 300 fitting or drilling?

Got this skimmer from fellow member steveoulaw and it's great skimmer.i put it on my nano and wow it pulled out good amount of gunk already.~

 

am moving this to main tank~ but..... faced some problem. "Bracing"~

 

i need to find the extended fitting for my deltec MCE 300 skimmer.

I have brace top on my tank so original fitting just came up short.

 

what size would i get it for ?. i went to home depot but didn't find one that fits.

i tried couple hose as well but out of luck.~

dirilling is my other option. but i got no tools.. :(

I would go to Lowes - they have a much better selection of tubing and fittings. Glad it's working well for you.

steve, yeah let me try there as well..

 

i am telling you it does work great for my tank.. i even pour the water from main tank to nano for now to filter it..LOL
