Mando77 November 29, 2012 Share November 29, 2012 I have had a pistol shrimp in my tank close to 2 years. This dude is mean. I think he is to blame for 2 purple fire fish missing. Had mine for about 3 years then one day I noticed my 4 year old hippo tang was missing so I started to move some rock around and the pistol shrimp was tearing her up Pistol shrimp was out my tank in less then 10 mins!
