Best temp/salinity for FOWLR?

I have had my tank at 80* during the cycle, but want to know what I should drop it down to for fowlr. Also, the best salinity? It is my understanding lower is better without being TOO low.

I always kept my FOWLR at 78 and at 1.023....(150g with 5 triggers)

are you keeping any invert?

 

If no inverts, you can do 1.019.

 

With inverts, you will have to do minimum of 1.023

5 triggers? May I ask what kind and how they got along? That sounds awesome.

They were my little fishy puppies.. A niger, blue jaw pair, picasso, and clown triggers...I also had for some time a arc eye hawkfish, a lunare wrasse and a maroon pair

They all did well... got them ALL when I had a 35g tank... they were in there for 9 months (all a bit bigger than a quarter when I got them) then in the 150g for 2 more years... then had to part it out to move :(

The Niger LOVED me.. and would always come and rub on my hand when it was in the tank for any reason....and of course to come and get the shrimp out of my hand also, lol
