Hi

I was playing around with taking photos of the aquarium and thought I would post some of the photos for a few reasons.

1 Can you help ID some of these and tell us if they are good or bad and

2 any additional tips on my photo skills to get better quality photos of the tank.

Thanks Pez and I are trying to do this right and we need a little hand holding and help.

Is this Brown Algae

Thank you everyone again we really appreciate your help. Also if anyone is near downtown Leesburg and would like to stop by to see the tank and make reccomendations. We are definately up for it. We are still trying to figure out if we are reading water samples correctly, protein skimmer issues, etc etc

Looks like Coral Hind got them all correct. Did you find something different? Did you do a search online to compare what you have to other photos? Did you find different information? Last photo looks like dead porites coral unless there's color to it, then it would be live porites coral.

He only had the bad photos of the Button Polyp, and the Homotrema Rubrum so they are the only two we know. The green sponge thing, the brown thing, the tube/leaf looking thing are all new. Also the last one is a white grayish sponge looking thing and it is growing across the rock. I am not sure how to describe some of these things nor the lingo. Give me furry kids or football and I am good but the aquarium stuff I turn into a dumb blonde. I wish they had a class Salt Water Aquarium 101.
