Even though I did it myself, I used a prefab vent cover which looks exactly like a heater/ac vent from the inside. You probably would need only a 2" vent hole for that size space. Attic to space and space to outside would work almost as well (not exactly as favorable from a temperature perspective but much better than nothing and would definitely solve the humidity issue). Chad August 21, 2012 Author Share August 21, 2012 Steve, how did you do your venting ? Did you use a bathroom vent both from the house and from theroom you made? What sized duct work? Thinking about this more, I think I can pull off what you recommend byadding insulation, venting to the cabinet from the house, and to the outside from the cabinet. I was thinking that a bathroom vent from the cabinet to the outside may be all that is needed, I'm not sure if the fan from the house is needed as well. Thoughts?
