Rafal August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 Hi. I just found out that I have a lot of Isopods - Munnid in my frag tank so I'm thinking to put there one fish to eat them. Is a mandarin a good choice? From my DT I can take clownfish because it will be very easy to catch them. Thanks, Rafal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Coral Hind August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 I don't think the clowns will go after them but the mandarin will. Clowns are not substrate hunters, they just wait for food to drift by. Those pods are harmless, why do you want them gone?
smallreef August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 a mandarin or a blenny of some sort would be your best bet.. if you have ALOT then it could be enough to sustain a mandarin for a while,,,, but take into consideration how you will feed it if it goes through all the pods quickly...
Rafal August 9, 2012 Author August 9, 2012 I have a lot of Isopods. They are every where. Coral Hind my DT is a 45G Cube.
Coral Hind August 10, 2012 August 10, 2012 Good, I just wanted to make sure it was big enough for a mandarin to be able to have a sustainable pod population.
