Ne0eN August 10, 2005 August 10, 2005 After weeks of trying I finally caught that pesky yellow-tail damsel in the 260 FOWLR tank. My method was to use a modified 10 gal aquarium as a trap. I removed the side glass and used it as a trap door. Top of the 10 gal trap was covered with a close fitting piece of plexi glass. I even put some LR and some fake coral inside the trap to make it look more homey. After injecting some frozen brine shrimp inside the trap - it was just a matter of time before the damsel was inside. -Rob
Folta August 10, 2005 August 10, 2005 haha thats crazy... such an elaborate trap! I'm glad that I didn't listen to the LFS's, and get a 'damsel because they are hardy fish'.
