superman monti

Hey you guess I bought a superman monti this weekend and everything looked great. I realized last night that a corner of my monti looked burnt red where the blue should be but still has the red polyps....

 

 

Anyone know what this means

Do you have a picture to share? It could be the growing edge of the coral as some montiporas have a different colored edge that changes to the final color once it grows out. Without seeing a picture we can only guess.
