I am religious about dipping all new corals before I add to tank. I just ran out of coral dip solution (Brightwells Iodine). I did have some problems with this on some corals. It worked on all pretty well, but some SPS had seemed to lose some color and took a few days to recover. So before I buy I wanted to see what everyone

IME the coral rx and revive( both of which are naturally derived from melaleuca, i believe) work best. Again this is my owne experience, but i do believe that in order to kill/ knock off any bugs using iodine based products you are stressing the corals out way too much. I keep the iodine on the shelf unless a coral has RTN or STN or brown jelly disease(LPS).
