Ghazanfar Ghori July 8, 2005 July 8, 2005 Anyone have any tricks / tips to keep powerheads secure? The suction cups don't do a goodjob of keeping them on the side of the tank.
Jarosh July 8, 2005 July 8, 2005 I've seen a few ways of securing power heads. The first being gluing it to a piece of acrylic and then attach the acrylis to the upper black rim of the tank. I've recently converted an old magnet algae scrapper into a movable powerhead fixture. Just glued the powerhead to the magnet and positioned it where I needed on the side glass of the tank.
Ghazanfar Ghori July 8, 2005 Author July 8, 2005 I've thought about the magnet method. Thinking about finding a source for cheap standard coated magnets and using those. I like the fact that you can move / angle etc the powerhead when using that method.
