GraffitiSpotCorals January 13, 2012 Share January 13, 2012 I just let mine run its course and did weekly water changes. I just let it mat up and pulled it out with a net. How old is the tank?
schenktank January 13, 2012 Share January 13, 2012 sometimes i got emerald crabs to eat it but syphoning it or wait til it gets thick and pull out the big red boogie. more waterflow in that spot will help too. wont let it grab hold.

Dr.eclipse January 14, 2012 Share January 14, 2012 (edited) id cut back on feeding, less feeding means less nutrients in the tank. syphoning, manually removable will be your best bet though. Edited January 14, 2012 by Dr.eclipse
wvreef January 14, 2012 Share January 14, 2012 +1 with what everyone is telling you to do...It will take several weeks to get it all out of the tank....best thing to do is to cut back on feeding and cut the amount of light back as well... I did weekly water changes and when you do them suck as much out as you can while doing the water change...I only feed my fish one time a day and that is what ever they can eat in 2 min and no more....
