Does phosban work well....and do u need a CO2 for that one?

from what D33rex said, i kinda had the same problem with how he described it..like the hair algea would just move a little bit as the water would pass by it on the bottom of the tank.and it seemed to accumulate in the dead spots in my tank, i probly dont even have more than 20 hermits, and probly 15 snails in my 55 now, and they seem to be doing okay.i used to have snails and crabs die pretty oftne, but it seems to be doing better. with the hair algea, all i did was get a yellow tang (in my case 3 now cause 2 died!) and let him go at it. mine went crazy with all the hair algea and had a HUGE feadt for a good time, but now its mostly turf on the rocks, and im slowly getting more snails and hermit crabs in my tank to take care of turf on the rocks..but i didnt do too much with the hair algea, kinda just let it do its own thing and it eventually disapeared...i have roufly 20 hemit crabs, 15 snails, 1 yellow tang, and a rock blennie and they seem to be doing a darn well job on the algea.

Phosban is the name of the reactor. You use phosphate removing media in it. It works well, & you do not need CO2 for it. All you need is a small PH to send water through it. My reactor is sold.
