Xler8n August 7, 2011 August 7, 2011 Hey everyone, Just thought id share my little Saturday project with you guys. Went to home depot to get the parts needed for building my Durso standpipe and Mesh top. They didnt have any schedule 26 pvc so i had to go with the 40. My biggest problem was that they didnt have 1 1/4 street elbow. I had to construct one using a regular 90 degree. Let me tell you, never use the cheapo hack saw to cut pvc. My thumbs hurt sooo bad. At first the Durso didnt fit so i also had to trim down the T. I built the frame for my mesh top. Waiting on my clear 1/4" mesh from BRS.
EGKS August 7, 2011 August 7, 2011 I plan on getting started on the Durso next weekend. I also had a hard time finding the street elbow, but I think what I picked up is right.
