I am looking to get out of the hobby and my main concern is that my corals and fish are well taken care of. I havent been able to put as much time in on my system as the fish and corals deserve so I would like to donate my entire 90 system as a school tank. It 90 gallon reef ready and drilled.

System: 90 gallon w/overflow

Protein Skimmer and under tank sump

Lighting: 48inch odyssea 2MH 250W 20k/2 96W Actinic with Icecap Ballasts

 

Livestock:

100lbs Live Rock

Yellow Tail Purple tang

Foxface

1 ocellaris clown (common)

Brittle star

Coral Banded Shrimp

MISC crabs and snails

 

Corals: Green Branching Hammer

Pink Pocillipora

A Fromosa

Many Polyps, Green, Brown w/orange center, Pink

20K lokaini

mummy eye chalice

 

it isnt a show aquarium and some of the corals definitely are not for beginners so if an officer would like to have them for safe keeping I have no objections.

I have a lot of money in this system but in the spirit of the hobby I dont want it getting parted out and sold for profit, my main concern is that my fish and corals go to a good home.

very kind gesture :) Too bad people like you are getting out of the hobby. If you reconsider, maybe being part of the club will get your interest up again. If not, I'm sure a school will be ecstatic to get a setup like yours!

Thanks for being interested in donating to a school. I've PMd the other officers to let them know. We'll need some time to coordinate and determine if there is a school interested in taking the tank. Me or one of the other officers will PM you shortly to begin determining what you'd like to do and what your timeline is.

I would be glad to help move it to a school help me learn more to. I live in leesburg with mother unlawful in hedgesville near martinsburg to I am out there alot.
