Our Indo is very lightweight, very porous and has all sorts of good bacteria thriving on it. This rock cycles fast; it has been here for a couple weeks so should be almost all the way cycled or not far to go. P.E. Mysis Shrimp 4oz Cubes are 20% off! PE Mysis is a freshwater shrimp which eliminates the possibility of parasite or disease transfer to marine fish; it's high in fatty acid profiles which are related to the food chain found in deep cold waters; it has greater values of Omega 3 which is more than krill and enriched brine shrimp; and has no binding agents. When I compared the PE Mysis to Hikari Mysis I found that PE has 69.5% crude protein while Hikari only has 10.5% and SFB brand has only 4.2%. PE is also much higher in crude fat and fiber. Sale includes 4 oz Blister Packs only. Keep your Nitrates under control, Absolute Zero Nitrates and Seachem DeNitrate are 10% off. A large selection of Corals are on sale from 10% off up to 50% off! With over 400 corals in stock and more than half of them on sale, we are sure you will find that great piece for a great price! Did You Know? Sometimes in a well-established aquarium it can be difficult to control the nitrate level. Even if biological filtration is adequate and partial water changes are performed regularly, it can still be difficult to keep the nitrates at an appropriate level. Luckily, there are a few products that can help remove excess nitrates. If you have a skimmer, you can try Absolute Zero Nitrates (AZNO3) which bonds to the nitrate and forms a molecule that the skimmer can pull out. For those that do not have a skimmer, there are two products that can help. One is called DeNitrate and looks like little pebbles, which break down the nitrate. This product works well in a low flow environment. There is a similar product called Matrix that works exactly like live rock and requires a higher water flow. All of these products have been proven to work well and can help out; however, they should not replace your water changes. Don't forget that denitrifying products are 10% off. Are your Nitrates under control?
