Jason December 29, 2010 Share December 29, 2010 Is there any way to upgrade the standard bio cube to be like the bio cube 29 hqi? I already have the oceanic bio cube 29 and oceanic protein skimmer. I have also done the nano tuners 4 pc bulb upgrade as well. How ever I would like to switch to the new lid with the metal halides. Is it possible to just switch tops from one to the other? if so where can I just purchase the lid/lighting? I made a led fixture, and the jury is still out, i kinda like it but--------- i like the halide in my 64 better. True it has t5's on it. I built a led for my 29 and took a long time to figure out how to run it. Anone getting a led i suggest that you over build and tune your lights to your style.
