Vadim September 5, 2010 September 5, 2010 I need a filter sock that can handle up too 1200GPH, right now i have a mag12 and CPR CS102 Overflow running into the sump. The filter socks i have right now can't handle it. The water is flowing out of the sock. So i was wondering if anyone can recommend something.
gwweber September 5, 2010 September 5, 2010 Maybe you should switch to a 7 inch sock, maybe two of them. The surface area is much larger and it allows more water passage up to the point of clogging that is. I got mine on ebay with a hanger for $23 LOL use it on a 40 breeder
gwweber September 5, 2010 September 5, 2010 you also can easily find 100 or 200 micron socks Choose which will work for you we have a 40 gallon and a small pump, we use the fine filter last more then a month before the bleaching
Vadim September 5, 2010 Author September 5, 2010 i think the sock i have right now is a 7 inch sock currently but im not sure what micron it is.
